Peter Maree, Tsonga's founder wanted to create a range of shoes and handbags, inspired by Africa. The hand-stitching skills of the women of the village of Lidgetton, close to his home in South Africa, were renowned and he thought that they could create something quite unique and wonderful. All Tsonga footwear is ethically made in South Africa.
